Cocoa Brown is expanding into the skincare market and has launched their new Sunshine Serum into Sweden

Earlier this week Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter, the brand that disrupted the self-tan industry, expanded into skincare and launched their new Sunshine Serum into Sweden.

Sunshine Serum combines the benefits of self-tan and skincare.

The hybrid formula contains hyaluronic acid for hydrating skin and peptides to firm and plump while also giving skin the signature Cocoa Brown bronzed glow.

Cocoa Brown’s new products launched in Ireland in Spring this year but given Sweden rank in the top three users of self-tan per capita, it is no doubt that CEO and founder Marissa Carter’s next stop was Sweden.

She hosted a content creator/influencer luncheon in Tabbouli, a restaurant nestled in the trees on one of Stockholm’s most scenic private islands.

Surrounded by grape vines, peonies and wild flowers, excited guests were the first Scandinavians to sample Cocoa Brown’s latest innovation.

At the launch, Cocoa Brown founder Marissa gushed: “It’s remarkable to me how well known and loved Cocoa Brown is here.”

“Our hero product, Cocoa Brown 1 HOUR TAN has sold over 1 million units in Scandinavia to date!”

“One particular retailer that has really been instrumental for the growth of our brand is Lyko.”

“When we presented our new Sunshine Serum to them, they moved fast to get it on their shelves.”

“Even so, I was surprised when the Sunshine Serum sold out on Lyko.com within hours of launch!”

Much like in Ireland, Cocoa Brown is sold in pharmacies, grocery stores and beauty destination stores across Sweden.
