Charlie Frederick responds to reports that he’s heading to Love Island to ‘confront’ Arabella Chi

The model claims he was still seeing her before she joined the show

Charlie Frederick has slammed reports that he’s heading to Love Island to confront his ex Arabella Chi.

Earlier this week, the 23-year-old, who appeared on the show last year, revealed that he was dating Arabella up until she entered the Love Island villa during Wednesday night’s show.

In a series of Instagram posts, Charlie slammed the 28-year-old model for not telling him she was joining the show, and fans believed he would appear on the show to confront her next week – when bosses bring back Casa Amor.

However, Charlie has since confirmed that this isn’t happening by telling fans, “Do I look like I’m in Casa Amor? Absolutely not. I’m in London, relax yourselves.”

In another snap, Charlie added: “Let me set the record straight, me and Arabella were never boyfriend and girlfriend, we were seeing each other, we were getting together.

“We were working out what was going on, what we both wanted etc, we were never girlfriend and boyfriend.”

“But I don’t know what’s worse really, telling someone you want them in your life and then disappearing into the villa… mind blown.”

Earlier this week, Charlie had also shared a number of screenshots of Whatsapp conversations between him and Arabella just days before she joined the show.

Referring to the messages, Charlie said: “Before all you lot start jumping the gun and saying I had this can’t be arsed attitude from those messages, do you know how many times she told me she didn’t want anything and then asked me to come back into her life?”

“We were restarting, getting everything back on track and that’s when she went into the villa, so don’t come to me saying ‘you said you can’t be arsed blah blah blah’, do you know how many times I gave her a second chance?

“And you know what, how many times have you given someone you really like a second chance? You just do it don’t you? I’m only human, listen I am a human, I have feelings,” he added.
