Adele reveals the REAL reason why she doesn’t want to move back to the UK

Adele has revealed the real reason why she doesn’t want to move back to the UK.

The British singer relocated to Los Angeles back in 2016 with her son Angelo.

Since moving stateside seven years ago, the 35-year-old has now revealed that she has no intention to move back to her homeland.

The London-born performer opened up to The Hollywood Reporter and said: “I get really bad seasonal depression, so the weather is good for me. It is strange sometimes, because I’m very British.”

“Because it’s a bit harder for me to go out nowadays, what I love the most about L.A. is everyone goes to each other’s houses. I like that.”

Adele previously revealed to British Vogue that she invested in three mansions in Beverly Hills in order to get more value for her dollar.

“The kind of house I have in LA I could never afford in London. Ever.”

Speaking about her life in LA, Adele continued: “And I actually have made a lot of really great core friends. I didn’t think I’d ever have a real friend group here. I don’t want a bunch of celebrities being my friends — well, only [celebrities].”

“And [my friends are] actually from L.A., which again, before I moved here, I never met one person who was from L.A. They’re not famous and they’re great. And having a kid at school, I’ve got great mum friends. But I do like it.”

The star explained to the outlet that she had “looked at houses” in London before coming to the conclusion and moving Stateside in 2016.

“It’s like hundreds of millions of pounds,” she said. “I don’t have that much money at all. I’d throw up.”

The iconic singer bought Sylvester Stallone’s eight-bedroom mansion in January last year for a reportedly whopping $37.7 million.
