Louis Walsh has blasted claims he’s set to be sacked from X Factor because he doesn’t get on with his fellow coaches.
But Louis, 62, today hit back and insisted their relationship is better than it has ever been.
Asked if he’d seen the reports, he said: “I’d seen that, but that’s absolutely untrue. I’m on really good terms with Mel B and I’m on good terms with Cheryl – better than I have been before.
Better than ever: Louis is getting on with Cheryl | ITV
“We’re all getting on well, we’re all getting on really, really well. Last year we got on incredibly well, but this year it’s good. Simon’s the troublemakers.”
However Louis admits “it was” difficult having Cheryl back at the start but now she’s in a “really good place – and I talk to her an awful lot”.
Meanwhile Louis told 2FM he isn’t sure that his boyband Stereo Kicks will win the X Factor.
Asked if they’ll triumph, he said: “I don’t know, it’s wide open for anyone to win. If they weren’t my band I would be worried about them. Andrea is still one to watch.”
