TV3 bosses are celebrating after Ireland AM massively crushed UTV Ireland’s new breakfast show.
Figures revealed that Good Morning Britain brought in just 2,700 people on its first outing on Monday.
But TV3 had a huge 61,700 viewers – giving them 32.35% of the audience, compared to just 2.37% for UTV Ireland.

TV3 spokeswoman Sharon McHugh said: “I think we can let the figures speak for themselves.”
UTV Ireland boss Michael Wilson previously said “there does appear to be demand” for the show, which they initially didn’t buy off ITV.
It comes as UTV Ireland are finding few programmes apart from soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street getting massive ratings.
But Michael added: “Building a channel is a slow burner. Audience figures will come later.”
