The Crown has announced who will play Camilla Parker Bowles in the show’s upcoming season.
Call the Midwife actress, Emerald Fennell, has been revealed as the latest star to join the cast.
In a short statement released on The Crown‘s official social media accounts, the actress said: “I’m absolutely over the moon, and completely terrified, to be joining so many hugely talented people on The Crown.

“I absolutely love Camilla and am very grateful that my teenage years have well prepared me for playing a chain-smoking serial snogger with a pudding bowl hair cut.”
Emerald joins a star-studded cast for the upcoming season as Helena Bonham Carter is set to play Princess Margaret, Broadchurch star, Olivia Colman, portrays Queen Elizabeth II and fellow Call the Midwife cast-member, Erin Doherty is Princess Anne.
The Crown is set to hit screens in 2019.
