TV3 star Sybil Mulcahy hopes to land a gig hosting UTV Ireland’s breakfast show after quitting the station.
The Ballymount presenter has taken a redundancy deal after a 16-year career at TV3.
Now Sybil has revealed she is open to offers – and would have no problem moving to rival UTV Ireland.

She added: “If they start doing Irish programmes – they’re only doing a news service at the moment – but if they do a breakfast show or a Nationwide or a chat show I’d be happy to talk to them.
“I’m kind of excited and nervous. I’m feeling ballsy, like, ‘what’s next?’ I just feel it’s the right time to find something new. Failing that, I’ll see the kids a lot more!”
The 40-year-old added that everyone is “shocked” in TV3 but felt the time was right.

“I just thought if I don’t do it now, I’ll never do it and I’ll still be in TV3 in 10 years,” she told the Herald.
“I know it’s probably rare for someone to walk away from a presenting role but it’s the right time.
“TV3 want me to stay on and do programmes for them. They asked me to do that so I said I would.
“But I would go to other TV stations or make a move into radio. I need something to challenge me now, the right role.”
