Former Love/Hate actress Susan Loughnane has described the show as a “sausage-fest” – without enough women.
The Dubliner played ill-fated prostitute Debbie in the RTE show, who was killed off last season after a drugs overdose.
And the 27-year-old said she is delighted that Aoibhinn McGinnity – who plays Nidge’s wife Trish – will feature more now.

She said: “I’m glad because she’s a great actress. The only complaint I ever had was that it was a bit of a sausage-fest.
“I just think that there was a lot of men and I liked it when the women got to do more stuff.”
And Susan – who just released her first novel, The Art of the Scandal – admitted she misses knowing what’s coming next.

“I really miss the gang and the amazing scripts and working on such a great character but I’m really excited to watch it as a fan,” she told the Ray D’Arcy Show.
“Before I was constantly thinking am I in this scene, or which part of my body is going to be in this scene.
“But I’m really excited for them. I’m pestering people now asking what’s happening but they are tight-lipped.”
