RTE star Ryan Tubridy has revealed he is happy to have another pay cut in a bid to help the broadcaster survive.
The Late Late Show host is currently the top paid member of staff at the station, taking home €495,000 annually.
But Tubs, 41, said more slashed to his pay wouldn’t worry him – after already cutting it by 32%.
“I’ve always said the economic circumstance have called on me to reduce my salary so far by 32% and never raised an eyebrow and on it goes,” he told the Sunday World.

“Any time I’ve had a knock on the door I’ve always answered it in the positive for the bosses and that stands.”
And 2FM host Tubridy is especially happy to cut his pay given that UTV Ireland, Sky and Newstalk are out for blood.
All change: RTE isn’t same station as when Gerry Ryan was alive
“I think it’s a very competitive world now compared to before,” he explained.
“You’ve UTV coming down the tracks, Newstalk seem to be a bit more engaged and it’s a very healthy market out there.”
