RTE star Ryan Tubridy has revealed that the Late Late Show a teetotal policy on set.
The booze issue was raised by Graham Norton when he appeared on the series on Friday.
He told Tubs that it felt odd not to have a glass of wine in his hand as he always sips Sauvignon blanc on his BBC chat show – although declined when offered one.

But the 41-year-old told radio listeners on 2FM, the bosses have decided to never allow wine or alcohol on set.
He said: “Generally the policy is no vino on set. That’s the way they want it. That’s the way they have to have it.
“Personally, I wouldn’t mind it myself if they wanted to have a glass but that’s house rules.”

He added that Norton was “very very funny” when he appeared on the show.
The former Father Ted star hit out at GAA player Paul Galvin after appearing on the show – labelling him a “tramp”.
