Model Nadia Forde is being supported on I’m A Celebrity by her proud mum – even though she was estranged from her for years.
The Dublin star lived with his grandparents since she was just seven-years-old after her parents split.
However Nadia healed her rift with Berenice Paolozzi – who she proudly poses with as a kid at Christmas – after finding out she was fighting cancer earlier this year.

Now Berenice has vowed she will be supporting her famous daughter when she starts in the Australian jungle tonight – and feels her Italian blood will help.
She told friends: “That strong minded Irish Italian blood will kick in for every challenge she is given.”
And she said on Facebook: “Come on, vote yes! First Irish woman to go into the jungle!”
Previously Berenice, who is a former events director and now works in radio, told friends that she is a “very proud mam” and has a “wonderful cheeky daughter”.

On her website, Berenice shows off a picture of Nadia and her brother Stephen joining her on a meeting with former President Mary McAleese.
Concerned Nadia spent weeks at her mum’s bedside in London after learning of her Lymphoma cancer battle earlier this year and patched up their relationship.
A friend said: “There is only one thing that is certain in life — death faces us all in the end, and when that comes all of the other worries and difficulties are not important anymore.
“It put everything into perspective for her, just how fragile and how precious life is.”

Previously Nadia said she would have ended up in a foster home if it wasn’t for her gran.
“When I was seven, my parents split up and myself and my brother Stephen were brought up by my nan,” she said.
“If it hadn’t been for my granny and my aunties, I think I’d have been brought up in a foster home. My nana didn’t have to take us, but she did.”
