Rachel Stevens already working on outfits to take on Una Foden for The Voice's live shows

Voice of Ireland coach Rachel Stevens is already getting set to take on Una Foden in the fashion stakes when the show goes live.

The former S Club 7 singer admits she is already working on her plans to glam up in front of the nation.

She said: “I’m starting to think about dresses and outfits for the live shows now and talking about the hair and make-up.

“All the other shows, we had to be restrained in a way because we had to keep the same look so I’m really looking forward to it.

“Also, I’m looking forward to styling the artists as well – the whole mentoring side of things really excites me.

“The whole way through my career I’ve had advice given to me so it’s fun to be able to pass some of that knowledge on to the contestants.”

The 36-year-old is currently on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour after the Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge had to pull out due to her pregnancy.

And Rachel told the Herald that it was “intense” to get prepared in just six days.

She added: “It all came together in the end – my muscle memory kicked in. Thank God.”
