According to Deadline, following the global success of the coming-of-age horror comedy, Romania saw a boost in tourism due to the sets being such a major attraction.

Details are yet to be finalised but production for the Netflix show is reportedly being slated for late April.

The hit show was renewed for a second series in January of this year and reports have yet to confirm where the season is set to go thematically.

According to the publication, the show’s producers Al Gough and Miles Millar have hinted that the second season may introduce more Addams family members and further explore Wednesday’s relationship with her mother.

Wednesday’s protagonist, Jenna Ortega, has also indicated that “the show would have stronger emphasize on horror over teen romance.”
