Miriam O'Callaghan reveals who she wants to interview

Miriam O’Callaghan is set to host her new summer chat and has revealed her dream guest would be her late sister Anne.

The TV host who was left heartbroken at the death of her younger sister to cancer back in 1995 – revealed talking to Anne would mean more than any famous celebrity.

“I don’t have a dream guest – I always think it would be very insulting to all my other guests!” she said.

“If it were possible I would probably just bring back my beautiful precious sister Anne who died so young,

“I’d love to let the country see and remember what a truly magnificent human being she was,” she told TV Now.

The summer chat show will be a change of scenery for the iconic broadcaster with Miriam admitting the programme will be more fun then her flagship PrimeTime.

“I love Prime Time, it’s in my DNA. By its nature though, PrimeTime tends to often deal with very difficult subjects and often we are interviewing people are very stressful times in their lives,” she said frankly.

“So the summer show by and large is much lighter and more fun,

“We are all multi-faceted human beings so it’s nice to be able to do lots of different things.”

The programme will broadcast every Saturday night from the 20th of June to the 8th of August.
