Tom Vaughan-Lawlor has claimed that we could all easily be as bad as his terrifying Love/Hate character Nidge.
The RTE actor believes there’s a bit of Nidge in all of us – when asked how he gets into the psyche of the part.
He said: “In terms of the physical characteristics, there is the shaved head, the clothes, the walk.
“But the emotion of the part? The tempo? Or the channelling of certain emotions? I think there are things in all of us, and essentially it’s about magnifying them.

“I remember someone saying there is no such thing as ‘out of character’ because we are all capable of anything.”
And 37-year-old also claims trainers have helped him get into Nidge’s head.
He said: “I mostly wear trainers because you need to be light as Nidge is always on his toes, ducking and diving.
“The zip tops our costume designer puts us in, makes you feel hard and I listen to rap, hip hop, and metal too.”
