Love/Hate fans will get more than an eyeful if they see Peter Coonan’s new play – as he’s stripping off.
The TV star – who plays Fran in the RTE series – will be on stage as Brendan Behan in Borstal Boy.
And the 30-year-old will be showing off everything, with some of the first scenes involving him nude in a shower on stage.
However Peter insisted he isn’t worried about showing off everything on stage – just like Tom Vaughan Lawlor, aka Nidge, did in the past.

“Ah sure, listen – the birthday suit, no problems,” he said. “It’s quite an undertaking I am looking forward to it.”
His time at the Gaiety Theatre, in Dublin, will interlink with the start of the new Love/Hate series – and is already waiting to be mobbed.
“That will come out around the middle of the play’s run and that’s when the stop and chats on Grafton Street happen quite regularly,” he said.

However Peter told Newstalk he doesn’t mind if people approach him on the street.
“I was in Galway and some lads were shouting at me from afar – asides from anything it’s a compliment,” he said.
“It would be a lot worse if they were running up to you telling you you were in an awful show and you weren’t great in it.”
