Peter Coonan has revealed he tells no one about up coming story lines on Love/Hate –Â even keeping his girlfriend in the dark.
The Dublin actor who plays Fran in the award winning RTE series said he never talks about the plot – and warned them not to ask him when he’s drinking.
“Well I just don’t tell anyone. I never got into the habit of telling even my girlfriend or my brother, or anyone,” he said.
“I don’t even tell my mates anything. I’ve said to them previously not to ask me anything, and if I’ve had a few drinks, even more so.

But Peter has much more important things on his mind these days.
He recently welcomed his daughter Beth into the world, and said having a little girl has changed his life.
“Fatherhood is good, it’s amazing. It’s tough to work but Kim is very cool and understanding, on the days when I have to work she lets me sleep,” he told U magazine.
“It’s pretty amazing. You fall in love, how could you not?

“Your priorities do change, of course they do, and it gives you a little bit more of a hunger to succeed and fight  a bit more for yourself.
“Because it’s not just you who you’re going to be saving for the future.”
Meanwhile Peter admitted he has a man crush on co-star Killian Scott.

The actor who plays Tommy in the show has a huge female following, and Peter admitted he can see why.
“Keel-o, ah he’s such a heartthrob. When I see him when he comes home for a coffee or pints I even get nervous. He’s a stunner. He’s lovely,” he said.
