Love/Hate star Aaron Heffernan is in the running to get a role in Game of Thrones.
The Dublin actor – who plays a detective in the RTE drama – has auditioned for a part in the HBO series.
The 23-year-old has tried out to become a soldier in the unsullied army of Daenerys Targaryen, according the Herald.
Love/Hate: Aaron in the latest season of RTE show
It would see him working alongside Emilia Clarke, who plays the leader of the army.
And Aaron would be following in the footsteps of friend Jack Gleeson, whose character King Joffrey was killed off earlier this year.
However the Trinity graduate – whose cousin is model Thalia Heffernan – will definitely be returning to Love/Hate this year.
