Love Island host Maya Jama hits back as Aftersun viewer accuses her of being ‘rude’

Love Island host Maya Jama has hit back, after a viewer accused her of being “rude” on Aftersun.

The presenter has been hosting the dating show and its’ Sunday night spin-off since January, when she took over from Laura Whitmore.

On the latest episode of Aftersun, Maya chatted to dumped contestants Kady McDermott, Ouzy See, Amber Wise and Josh Brocklebank about their time in the villa.

She also spoke to ex Islanders Molly Smith and Callum Jones, who met on the 2020 winter series.

While the show was on, one viewer tweeted: “Ibr Maya Jama ain’t even a good presenter she’s just leng but she’s hella rude iwl.”

Maya then replied: “Lol if this is the first time you’ve watched aftersun just say that.”

The final of Love Island is set to air on Monday, July 31 at 9pm.

Tonight’s show will see the return of the fan-favourite challenge The Talent Show.

The seventh episode of Goss Island is now live across all streaming platforms, including Spotify and iTunes.
