On tonight’s episode of Love Island, the remaining contestants will be reunited with their families.
As well as seeing their own parents and siblings, they will meet their partner’s families for the very first time.
Amber and Irish man Greg have not been together for very long, but they are one of the public’s favourites.
As the two families meet for the first time tonight, Greg’s mother has a very special gift for Amber that symbolises Greg’s Irish heritage.
As they sit on the swing seat together, Greg’s mum tells Amber: “Iv’e got a little gift for you from Ireland.”
She then presents Amber with a delicate silver shamrock necklace.
In the Beach Hut confessional, Amber is overwhelmed by Greg’s family’s gesture.
“I really wasn’t expecting it,” she says, touching her new jewelry. “She said ‘I’ve got you this little lucky Irish shamrock for being so lovely to my son’ and I was like ‘ooooh thank you!'”
All of the couples will meet the family tonight – before one couple leaves the villa for good.
Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two on Sunday night at 9pm.
