Love Island fans have slammed Tyrique Hyde for “sabotaging” Sammy Root’s relationship with Jess Harding.
During Tuesday night’s episode of the hit dating show, Sammy confided in Tyrique that he was torn between Amber Wise and Gabby Jefferey saying: “Between these two girls, I don’t know who I’m feeling more.”
Tyrique told Sammy: “I’m gonna say this once, I say kiss both of them tonight.”
Sammy replied: “It doesn’t work like that bro…if I kiss both of them, that’s not going to change how I feel about the pair of them or possibly mess up things with how I feel about Jess…”
Taking Tyrique’s advice, Sammy pulled both Amber and Gabby aside to kiss them – in exactly the same location, just at different times.
Love Island fans have since taken to social media to slam Tyrique for “sabotaging” Sammy’s relationship with Jess – who is currently away in Casa Amor.
Viewers believe he is trying to claim the victory, along with the £50k prize pot with his flame Ella Thomas.
One Instagram user penned: “Ty doing the Jake [Cornish] ‘thing’… but he’ll stand firm on movie night it was their choice. 🙄.”
A second said: “Sammy really took advice from Tyrique??!!!! 😫.”
A third wrote: “What Ty said will defo be shown on movie night,” while a fourth commented: “Ty is trying hard to be loyal to Ella. When in real he just miss the game because it reflects in his advices to the boys. He want them to do what he could not. Desperate to win the LI. I wish Ella just pie Ty and move on.”
