I’m A Celebrity host Laura Whitmore has revealed she wants Simon Cowell to go into the jungle.
The Bray presenter – who is in charge of the ITV spin-off show – believes he would win the public over like last year’s winner Kian Egan.
She said the X Factor boss would be able to show off his true personality, and get away from the hardman image portrayed on TV.

“I’d love to see someone maybe like Simon Cowell. I wonder what he’d be like in that situation?,” she said.
“I loved Kian Egan who won last year. He did a show in Ireland, The Voice of Ireland, he’s a judge and he’s quite Simon Cowell-esque – he can be quite strict and can be a bit of a meanie.
“So when I saw him in the jungle and he was this hero, so nice to all of the girls and helped them all along, I thought – that’s the real Kian.”

However Laura, 29, admitted she doesn’t get a say in who goes in – but revealed a gang of Australian actors test run the jungle each year before the stars arrive.
She said: “They have actors living in the camp for a week beforehand. They test the big trials and we do three big shows as if it’s the real show.”
