The show will pay tribute to one of Ireland's most loved musicians

This weeks Late Late Show line-up is jam-packed and will honour a special anniversary of one of Ireland’s most loved musicians.

The show will celebrate Finbar Furey’s 70th year with a host of celebrity guests and special performances this Friday, including Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill, Aslan frontman Christy Dignam and Hollywood actor Patrick Bergin.

The stars will pay tribute to the singer who’s career dates back to the 1960s.

Finbar will also be treating guests and viewers to a special performance from him and Sharon Shannon as they perform classic hits and some new music not heard before.

Also on the show is transgender teen David Beattie who is in the midst of transitioning to female and will will be on the Late Late to chat about how watching a Caitlyn Jenner documentary helped him realise his true self.

Comedian Oliver Callan will be back again as America’s next president Donald Trump and will be making the presidential address that Trump secretly wanted to deliver.

Supermac’s founder Pat McDonagh will be sharing how he turned the humble Irish chipper into a €116 million business and we’ll be getting the latest on his legal battle with global fastfood giant McDonalds.
