Keith Duffy has revealed he could be soon making a triumphant return to the Coronation Street cobbles.
The Boyzone star first appeared in the hit ITV soap back in 2002 and was only written in for a three week stint.
But Keith – who was last in Corrie in 2011 as Ciaran McCarthy – said it could be time for a return.
Speaking about his character, he said:Â “Well, he’s not been killed off, which is the most important thing!
“So I could easily come back, after all I’ve been in and out of the show for ten years, so who knows!”

“Of course [I still watch the show] when I have the time, It was a great training ground.
“I learned so much on the show as an actor, but it’s the people who make it too. It’s a brilliant show to be associated with.”
He is currently starring on the West End in Billy Roche’s A Handful Of Stars – playing an Irish boxer.
“I picked it because it was different and hope it will challenge the perception of what people have of me,” he said.
“The play is a great piece of writing from the 80s and reflects on the same issues we face today… money, jobs and trouble.”
