Mrs Brown’s Boys star Jennifer Gibney has told how she won’t be scared of Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, who is known for his soul destroying critique.
Actress Jennifer whose dancing partner is Wicklow native Tristan MacManus has revealed that she will be happy if she makes it through her dance routine.
“If Craig went out and said everyone was amazing and wonderful, nobody would believe him,” she said.
“It’s part of who he is and part of the kind of judge that he is and also we’re just glad to get from start to finish.”
“Anything you say after that I don’t care, I got from the start to the end and I didn’t fall.”

Jennifer and Tristan came on the Nicky Byrne Show this morning and gave the low down on the reality series which is back on our screens at the end of the month.
Tristan told the show that he was delighted to be paired with Jennifer, as she has made the show a very “enjoyable” experience for the pro-dancer.
“I couldn’t have picked anyone better to have this season. I’m delighted and she is making it very enjoyable,” he said.
“If anything I will be harsher than Craig will. It’s very hard to know what to expect when you come in.”
“I am getting more strict now just because of how well Jennifer is doing. You have to push and no one will be pushing ourselves more than I will.”

Meanwhile Jennifer also revealed that there is no rivalry between the contestants and believes there won’t be either.
“There are seven great women, really strong women. We all helped each other so much during the group dance and we kind of got that group together,” she said.
“With the women that are involved I actually do think it will stay that way.”
Tristan then joked: “It’s nice to be naïve isn’t it? When was the last time you talked to one of them, it was probably the launch show.”
