I’m A Celeb bosses are said to be “on high alert” as a category three cyclone is “threatening” celebrity cyclone.

The iconic trial will see the final four celebrities dress up in superhero-inspired costumes and trek slightly uphill with chunky stars.

The plot twist, however, is that they are being pelted with water and plastic balls as they make their way through the course.

The celebrities decide amongst themselves who will trek to each stage of the course; the first campmate will take four stars, the second will take three from the first campmate, and so on.

According to The UK Sun, I’m A Celeb bosses are concerned whether Celebrity Cyclone, which is set to take place on Saturday night, will be able to go ahead.

Cyclone Jasper is building up to a category three storm off the coast of Queensland.

A source said: “Production are aware of the threat and the safety of the celebrities is their priority. ITV are watching Cyclone Jasper very closely.”

“It has formed hundreds of miles off the coast but the storm is developing and intensifying by the hour,” the insider continued. “The safety of the celebrities is of the utmost importance to ITV and they are monitoring the situation.”

“The timing could not be more apt, as the cyclone is on course to hit when the stars are taking on that very challenge.”
