Everything we know about the Big Brother final – and who’s tipped to win

The Big Brother final will take place this Friday, November 17th.

The popular series returned to our screens last month, with 16 new contestants moving into the famous house in a bid to win £100,000.

As of Wednesday morning, there are six housemates remaining in the competition: Henry, Jordan, Olivia, Yinrun, Matty and Noky.

However, another housemate will be axed in a surprise eviction twist on Wednesday night, just hours before Friday’s final.

Host AJ Odudu revealed the shock twist during Tuesday night’s Late and Live spin-off show.

The eviction news came after Tom and Jenkin were sent home during the main show.

Tom, Jenkin, and Jordan were “evicted” from the house during Monday’s episode, but were moved to a secret house and subject to a public vote.

Viewers were asked to save one of the housemates so they could return to the main house, and Jordan ultimately survived the brutal double eviction.

The final of this year’s Big Brother will kick off on Friday, November 17th, at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and Virgin Media One.

Henry Southan is the current favourite to win the 2023 series, after Yinrun was knocked off the top spot.

While Yinrun has been hugely popular with viewers over the past six weeks, Henry emerged as a new frontrunner this week.

BetVictor spokesperson Sam Boswell said: “For the first time since the first week, we have a new favourite housemate to win.

“Henry’s odds have ended up much shorter than his initial 25/1 early in the series, and now he is the new favourite to win at 11/8.

“His bromance with Jordan has taken the main stage throughout the series, as the pair have been inseparable, but now he’s backed to go all the way!”

The final predictions come after a dramatic eviction last week, which saw popular housemate Trish leave the house.

Shortly after her exit, a series of old social media posts resurfaced from the housemate – causing fans to turn on her.

On November 12th, the 33-year-old addressed the historic tweets in a statement on social media, after fans accused her of being “racist and homophobic”.

She wrote: “I’m aware that some very concerning old tweets of mine have re-surfaced, and I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned.

“There are no excuses for the ignorance that I showed and I am deeply disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed that I once made such comments.

“I have come a very long way since by educating myself and being educated by others on the impact and harm those views cause.

“It is part of the reason why I am so passionate about standing up for others and holding myself to a high standard of responsibility and accountability for my actions.

“I appreciate the support you’ve all given me on the show and I understand you feel disappointed.”
