Ellie Leach has hinted at a Coronation Street return following the end of the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
The actress triumphed in the BBC reality dance competition alongside her professional dance partner Vito Coppola last year.
The 22-year-old previously played Faye Windass in the ITV soap from 2011 until April 2023.
However, her character wasn’t killed off the show which means she could return at some point if she chooses to do so.
During an appearance on The One Show, Ellie was asked about the possibility of her return to the soap.
The actress did not shut down the idea and said: “I mean never say never! She didn’t die!”
She continued: “I spent so many amazing years there and grew up there. They will always be like my family! It was an amazing experience there.”
After Ellie’s final scenes aired in May last year, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude for her character and the show: “💕 Farewell Faye Windass 💕 and just like that, 12 years at @coronationstreet has come to end!!”
