There was panic on the Strictly Coming Dancing set when JLS star Aston Merrygold dropped his professional dance partner in rehearsals.
Aston was left mortified after he dropped his dance partner Janette Manrara on the ground, after trying to do a tricky lift.
Prepping for Saturday’s live show, the duo were attempting to practice the lift when Aston, 29, dropped Janette, 33, in this major slip up.
Aston had the upper hand on the dance show with his boyband background, but he’s now left “shaken” and “apologetic” after this incident with the pro dancer.
According to The Sun Janette had to be checked over by the on-call medic after the painful fall.
“‘It was really nasty,” a source told the publication.
“Aston was lifting Janette but it went horribly wrong. It left her shaken and she had to be checked over by the team,” they added.
