Coronation Street actor Andrew Whyment has reportedly signed up for this years I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The actor, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the cult classic soap is reportedly destined for the Aussie jungle.
I’m A Celeb are said to be delighted with the addition of Andrew in the line up.
The Sun reports that producers were “chuffed” to have the actor on board.
A source alleged: “They were chuffed to get Andrew as viewers have watched him on Coronation Street for the best part of two decades, yet know nothing about him away from Kirk.”
However, a spokesperson put a damper on the rumours, telling the Mail Online: “It’s just speculation.”
“We’ll announce our line up for the new series nearer transmission.”
Other celebs rumoured to be on the line up are Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway and sportsman Ian Wright.
