Connected’s sex worker star Kate McGrew has revealed business is still going strong following her appearance on the RTE show.
The Cork star revealed being on the reality show didn’t affect her career as she still regularly sees clients all around the country.
“[Business is] good, I really like the clients. I meet a lot of interesting people and they’re overwhelmingly polite.”

The RTE star admitted she still loves working in the sex industry:
“It’s a job that really suits me…I work of my own volition.”
However, the Ohio-born star also told that there are darker aspects to the sex industry she must be careful with.
“I’m not naïve about the fact that I’m in the room with a man who is physically stronger than myself. I take various safety precautions” Kate said.

“That’s why I’m looking for better laws and full decriminalization so that we can be able to go to the police have a trusting relationship with the police if we need to report any abuse or coercion” she added.
Speaking to Sean O’Rouroke on RTE Radio 1, Kate said her her main goal is campaigning for sex work decriminalization.
“I can’t even work in an apartment with another girl because that’s considered a brothel” she said.
“What we’re asking the Irish government to consider is decriminalization…the work would be dealt with in the business sector.”
