Cold Feet returned last night with 6.1 million tuning in to the first episode in over a decade.
The first episode of season 6 was on the small screen after the fifth season ended 13 years ago.
James Nesbitt, who plays Adam Williams on the show, revealed previously that he had worries about the show performing well.
Good news for the actor as the show smashed it in the ratings and had almost triple the amount of people watching another returning show, Crimewatch.

The Antrim native admitted just before the show made it’s return that when he read the script for the new season that the characters leapt off the page at him.
“I never thought we would do it again. Then I opened the script and thought ‘Oh my God, there they are’,” he told the Belfast Telegraph.
“Those familiar, yet distant characters leapt off the page and still had something to say.
“It was fascinating to see them after that gap of time, where their lives were and where they were going to go.”
