Baz Ashmawy has admitted his mum accidently blurted out that he is engaged.
The TV star is set to marry his partner of over 10 years Tanya Evans, but Baz admitted their engagement was meant to be kept a secret.
Speaking on the new series of the Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE One, Baz said he couldn’t believe his 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy co-star had let the details slip.

“We were with journalist… and this was something we had kept private,” he explained.
“And then in the middle of this my mum went: ‘and sure he got engaged’.
“I went ‘why would you say that? here and now?’. So everyone’s been talking about it and I’ve read that mum is giving me away,” he laughed.
While Baz is happy to film crazy adventures with his mum Nancy, he admitted he will be keeping his nuptials very private.
“I won’t be (filming the wedding), no, no,” he told Ray.
When asked where and when he’s getting married Baz remained tight-lipped.
We may have to rely on Nancy for the wedding deets…
