Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood was left embarrassed after inadvertently discussing his penis on stage in Ireland.
The UK baking whizz was in the Olympia Theatre with his British Baking Tour when he started talking about “my lad” to laughter from the crowd.
The 48-year-old went on to keep mentioning his “lad” throughout the first part of the show, unsure why the audience couldn’t stop chuckling.

But following the interval, Paul – known for his work with Mary Berry on GBBO – came back out and started reading out tweets he received during the show.
Shocked Paul then read out one message which told him: “You do know that ‘my lad’ means your willy in Ireland?”
The stunned BBC star then asked the crowd: “Is this true? I was talking about my son! Dirty! I was talking about my lad all the time in Liverpool the other day”.

He then tried – and failed – to mention his son rather than “lad” throughout the second half which saw him confused by the Great Irish Bake Off.
Following the show, Paul posted on Twitter: “Thanks Dublin incredible audience and who knew about ‘lad’.”
He also asked the crowd whether they had any judges like him or not on the Irish Bake Off, after discovering his equivalent – Paul Kelly – had left a cake of him in his hotel room after arriving in Dublin.
