Axed X Factor contestant Samantha Atkinson’s family have started a petition to get Honey G off the show.
Viewers were left outraged after Sharon Osbourne chose to keep controversial rapper Honey G on the show in the Over 25s category – which resulted in talented singers going home, including Samantha.
Thousand are now seeking “justice” for Samantha, in a bid to get Honey G booted off the live shows.
The petition page reads, “Samantha Atkinson is my cousin and I and thousands of other X factor viewers feel she was robbed of her place on live shows tonight, when Sharon Osbourne gave Honey G one of them places in final 12.
“Let’s sign and show X factor bosses and ITV that they have made a huge mistake!!!:
The petition has already almost reached its goal of 3000 signatures, with many commenting how disgusted they were with the ITV show.
One supporter wrote, “X Factor has sunk to a new low. It is so obviously not about talent. What a joke”.
Meanwhile, another wrote, “Was an absolute joke if a decision. Lost all respect for sharon Osborne. Does she think it’s funny to mess with people’s lives? Honey G Is a joke. Shouldn’t have got through from the start.
“Samantha deserves the place, the girl can sing! If she doesn’t come back then x factor and all its associates should be ashamed of themselves.”
