Irish Apprentice hopeful Roisin Hogan has revealed her dream is still coming true – despite being fired by Lord Sugar.
The Dubliner hoped to launch a range of healthy, no-carb ready meals with Lord Sugar’s £250,000 cash injection.
But the 32-year-old revealed she is making it happen without his help – and will be launching this year.
She said: “I’m very excited to announce that I have partnered up with an Irish food manufacturer, so we are working together on the product and we’re going to launch Nudels by Roisin early in 2015.

“So that’s why I think it was a really good time for me to go from the show, as now I have found a partner who is an expert in the industry with the manufacturing facilities and distribution I need.”
Now Roisin said she has “taken on board” advice given to her on the show – and feels she won’t be hurt by the revelation on the second-last show that there is already a similar product to her idea.
She told TV Now: “That was really shocking for me. I think my face said it all to be honest.
“That’s part of the process though, and I later realised that product is an obscure French product that can only be found in obscure parts of France.

“They definitely did their research. I obviously hadn’t seen that product before and there was nothing I could do about that.
“You just have to make the best of a bad situation. It also retrospectively made me realise that it doesn’t matter that there is a competing product, it fact I think it was good. And I know my product was the best.”
But “based on performance” Roisin still doesn’t believe she should have been fired – and feels Lord Sugar had a “soft spot” for Daniel.
She added: “I don’t think so. I would say this to Daniel’s face as well, I was so cross when Lord Sugar fired me over Daniel.”
