Love/Hate star Aoibhinn McGinnity has revealed people think she’s married to Tom Vaughan Lawlor in real life.
The Monaghan actress – who plays Trish – also admitted that she’s had girls approaching her thinking she was pregnant when her character was also expecting.
She added: “I mostly get people worrying about my marriage, because there’s some very concerned people out there.
“Of course, you get the confusion. A couple of the girls on O’Connell Street last week thought I was married to Tom Vaughan Lawlor in real life.

“Or when Trish was pregnant assumed I was pregnant. Generally, though, it’s just people telling me about Nidge’s affairs or something. Everyone seems very interested.”
But Aoibhinn told Hot Press she feels lucky that one thing she’s never experienced is abuse for playing Trish.
She added: “I know it happens though. Coilfhionn Dunne – who played Lizzie – used to get awful abuse for killing Dareen. Genuinely, she had an awful time of it.”
