Amy Huberman will be starring in her own sitcom next year – with RTE funding it.
The ex-Clinic actress beat off hundreds of rivals to get the cash for her comedy, which should be on air by January.
The Threesome star – whose husband is Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll – submitted an idea which was chosen for funding.

“Amy came up with a great script but rivals hadn’t a chance. How could RTE turn down a comedy written by and starring Amy Huberman?,” a source told the Irish Sun.
RTE decided to pick her script in a bid to get a show which appeals to females after canning restaurant drama Raw.
