Xpose star Aisling O’Loughlin has told how she has no plans to wed – as she doesn’t think marriage is important at all.
The TV3 presenter admitted that even after her year of hell that saw partner Nick Maccines diagnosed with leukaemia – it doesn’t feel more needed.
And Aisling joked that she likes to “be able to have my escape plan ready easily – just take the kids and run.”
Asked by Goss.ie if it was important to get married, she said: “No it’s not. It hasn’t been. Everyone is an individual and we all have our own filter and experiences, but no.

“I like to be able to have my escape plan ready easily – just take the kids and run. But maybe one day down the road. I’m not totally against marriage.
“When I see it working it is the most beautiful thing in the world, and everyone needs a team partner to get through life.
“But when it goes wrong, it can go horribly wrong. So it’s not something I take lightly or that I’d be running in to – despite having two children.”
Recently Aisling’s Xpose co-star Glenda Gilson wed in a lavish ceremony in Doonbeg, Co Clare.

And asked by Goss.ie if she felt pressured to get hitched due to the other Xpose girls all wed, she admitted it actually made her less likely.
She said: “We do talk about it, but God when I look at the level of the weddings.
“Glenda’s down in Doonbeg, and Lisa’s looking at all these castles, and Karen’s was over in Italy, and Sean’s was immaculate too – I’m just thinking I’m the worse at throwing a party.”
The TV presenter also revealed that she thinks there is a lot of pressure associated with wedding planning.
“Your guests are judging you from the moment you sit down – they are grumbling.

“I’ve been to so many weddings over the years and they’ve been spoilt over the years. The pressure of marriage, it does put me off it.”
However the Xpose star hasn’t completely ruled out the idea of walking up the aisle.
She said “Maybe one day when the kids are a bit older, if we finally manage to save some money to have something somewhat nice.
“Maybe we’ll do the secret wedding and tell nobody. Maybe we’ll pull it right back and do a Keira Knightley on it.”
