Model Roz Purcell: 'People DON'T need to stick to a diet in order to be healthy'

Roz Purcell has revealed she doesn’t think people need to stick to a certain diet in order to be healthy.

The Tipperary beauty believes eating food in it’s most unprocessed form is the key to dietary success.

“I appreciate people have different requirements but I don’t advocate a certain type of diet. I have tried them all while modelling and I’ve learned my lesson,” she said.

“It’s not about cutting everything out — it’s about eating food in its most whole, unprocessed form.”

The former Miss Universe also revealed she is “very creative” in the kitchen and runs her own food blog – Natural Born Feeder.

“I am very creative in the kitchen and my blog is more recipe inspired and ideas based than fact heavy.”

The Restaurant star is also releasing her first cook book in December.

It comes after the 24-year-old took some criticism from fellow model Rosanna Davison over not being qualified in nutrition.

The Miss World winner is releasing her own cook book this year and hopes to outsell Roz.

Keen to put her culinary talents to good use, Roz is lending a helping hand to the Great Irish Bake in order to raise funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

“Hopefully I’ll get people baking for a good cause,” she said.

To take part in Temple Street’s Great Irish Bake, supported by Tesco, on Friday April 17 register at templestreet.ie.
