Last week saw eighty secondary school students storm the 3Arena Dublin competing at the Grand Finale of Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture in association with Repak Recycled Fashion Competition 2015.
Enlisting the help of an outstanding new judging panel including ITV Mission Survive winner Vogue Williams, TV presenter Rob Condon and X Factor’s Louise Walsh for the competition.
The Sligo native joined the panel to judge the brand new category of Best Performance this year.

Also on the panel were art and design educator Tracey Fahey and Repak Marketing & Communications Manager Laura Murphy.
Xpose darling Glenda Gilson was also at the 3Arena watching on at the creative recycled couture.
The panel had their work cut out selecting the winners of several different categories plus the Overall Winner for Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture 2015 from the extraordinary pool of talent.

Scooping the overall competition with Le Paon Majestueux  was Elphin Community College, Roscommon.
The outstanding outfit was made from chicken wire, old magazines, aluminium and peacock feathers.
The school won a cash prize of €2,500 for their school along with iPad Minis and a further cash prize of €500 for the winning team.
