Celebrity Salon's Layla Flaherty: 'I started twice-yearly Botox when I was just 25'

Celebrity Salon star Layla Flaherty has revealed she’s been getting Botox since she was just 25-years-old.

The Galway model said has been having the face-freezing treatment twice annually for the last six years as a preventative action.

She said: “I started getting it done because I’m a firm believer in prevention being better than cure.”

However ex-Desperate Scousewives star Layla, 31, said she makes sure not to overdo it with the treatment.

Botox lasts for four months and temporarily improves the appearance of frown lines.

She added: “I would be very careful not to overdo it. I would only get it done maybe twice a year.

“I’m cautious with it and would have it done perhaps during times of stress or when I’m tired and all the tell-tale signs of that can be seen on my face.”

But Layla told the Star that she definitely wouldn’t resort to going under the knife though.

She added: “I’m not against surgery but I definitely don’t think I’d go as far as having a facelift done.”
