Wicked is coming to Dublin – and fans are freaking out.
The famed musical first hit the stage in 2003 and has since travelled the world from New York’s Broadway to London’s West End – and even came to Dublin for the first time in November 2013.
Now, the show is making it’s return to Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre as part of it’s UK and Ireland tour.
Wicked is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel and tells the other story of the two witches of Oz, which people will know best from The Wizard of Oz.
The tour kicks off in England’s town of Bristol before following the yellow brick road to Dublin in August 2018.
Tickets go on sale for the hit musical from Ticketmaster and usual outlets from 9am on Friday June 30th.
Wicked is known for it’s outstanding set design, music and acting – and this has gained the show a strong legion of fans who rushed to Twitter to announce their delight.
