RTE star Vogue Williams has opened up about a terrifying incident when she was mugged by a group of teenagers when she was 18.
Following the violent robbery Thalia Heffernan suffered in Dublin City, Vogue shared her experience – admitting being around groups like that still make her nervous.
“I actually find being alone in the city can be quite intimidating at night,” she said.

“I was mugged by a group of teenagers when I was about 18 and it honestly still makes me feel nervous if I’m alone around groups like that.
“It really is scary the extent people will go to and it honestly still makes me feel nervous if I’m nervous if I’m alone around groups like that, ” she wrote in her Sunday World Column.
“Thalia Hefferenan was also recently mugged in the city centre when a group stole her bag and hit her.
“I think we need to work on making Dublin a safer place to be, but unfortunately these crimes happen in every country so it’s hard to stop them,” she added.
