Vogue Williams: 'I missed my brother's WEDDING to film new TV show'

Vogue Williams has admitted she skipped her brother’s wedding day – to film a new adventure series.

The Fade Street star will appear in the new Bear Grylls show Mission To Survive on ITV, but revealed she was forced to miss her brother’s nuptials.

“It’s so awful. I got asked to do the show and I had to fly out the day before my brother’s wedding,” Vogue admitted.

“I had to ask my mum loads of times about how I was going to tell him.  I left it to the last minute because I was hoping they would let me fly out later.

“I told him I had been offered a big show and I just had to do it,” she explained.

“He understood I just had to do it, with my job some times I have to just go and do it…But wth my family you can dump each other at a moments notice and it’s fine.”

Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show Vogue admitted filming the new ITV show was an intense experience, and said the series is a lot tougher than I’m A Celebrity.

“It was absolutely insane it was way harder than I thought it was going to be,” she said.

Intense: Vogue breaks down in tears on the show

“They gave me two days to think about it, they said they wouldn’t take my answer until I took two days. It was hard staying on the floor with scorpions in my shoes.

“I’m a celebrity is different because it’s a set, it’s on a set, but we weren’t.

“My biggest fear is spiders and those things. I don’t care about rats and things like that,” she said.

Vogue revealed she is caught on camera crying when she was forced to eat a live scorpion.
