Una Healy has admitted she accidentally posted a “risqué” photo of herself on Instagram recently.
The mother-of-two was left “cringing” after she shared the embarrassing photo on her Instagram Story without realising.
Speaking on her Country Hits Radio show, Una recalled: “So I was enjoying myself in the last bit of sun of the summer and I didn’t want any tan lines, so I removed my straps, pushed them down, wasn’t revealing myself too much you know.”
“I do have neighbours, could have a quick look over the wall if they wanted to, so I still had my bits covered.”
The singer then explained that her mother gave her an old bandana to shield her head while she was sunbathing.
Una said: “I put it on my head, and just wanted to see what I looked like with these massive sunglasses and bandana, I’d bet I looked like Axel Rose or something…”
“I got my phone out and I was using it as a mirror, and I was like ‘wow, I look a bit funny there!'”
“I went into my Instagram for filters… the next thing my mum was talking to me so I put it down. I had taken a picture but it was only for myself because it wasn’t a pretty sight to be honest.”
“I put it down and accidentally my thumb brushed off ‘send.’ Where did it go? To my whole entire followers, so to over 600,000 people,” she confessed.
“My phone was hopping then, getting all these messages from people saying the photo was hot, risqué, asking was it meant for someone else…”
“I deleted it with panic, that shame, pure fear was setting in… I was like delete, delete, delete.”
Making matters even worse, Una didn’t realise that her Instagram was linked to her Facebook, and the photo stayed up on her Facebook Story for hours.
“Deleted it off my Instagram but it was still up on the stories on my Facebook! It was up there still a few hours later,” she explained.
“Cringe! Total cringe!” Una added.
