Irish comedian Sean Hughes has died, aged 51.
The standup comedian and quiz show panellist, was reportedly being treated for “cirrhosis of the liver”.
Sean won the prestigious Perrier comedy award in 1990 and was best known as a team captain on BBC’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, he also starred in Coronation Street and The Commitments.
Sean had been unwell for some time and tweeted on the 8th og October that he was in hospital.
