Thousands of fans have been left disappointed after failing to secure Coldplay tickets.
Last week, the popular band announced they’re bringing their world renowned tour to Croke Park on Thursday, August 29, and Friday, August 30.
Due to popular demand, the fivesome later added two more dates – Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2.
Artist presale tickets went on sale at 10am on Tuesday, July 25.
Promoter presale (MCD Productions) tickets went on sale at 10am on Wednesday, July 26.
Finally, general tickets were available to purchase from 10am on Friday, July 28.
Although Croke Park has a concert capacity of 82,300, which would mean a total of 329,200 tickets across all four dates, thousands of fans were left disappointed after failing to secure tickets across both presale and general sale.
Fans have taken to Twitter to question how many tickets went on sale on Friday morning.
One Twitter user penned: “Riddle me this @TicketmasterIre… in the queue for Monday night #coldplaydublin at 10am, feeling ‘confident’ but all tickets now gone. Question: how many tickets were allocated for general after both presales?”
Another tweeted: “Why do I even bother 😭😭 Ticketmaster had a total of like 5 tickets for the Coldplay Dublin concert I swear.”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Is this a joke? Was 17k at 10 oclock, only at 4K now nearly an hour later and they say no tickets are left?”
