Spencer Matthews was recently hospitalised while on holidays with his wife Vogue Williams.
Speaking on the latest episode of the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue told her co-host Joanne McNally that she became really sick on the trip, before Spencer was also struck down with the illness.
The Irish presenter then revealed that Spencer had to spend two days in hospital.
She said: “Spenny was hospitalised for two days because he is a little b***h and he can’t handle it.”
When asked by a shocked Joanne why he was hospitalised, Vogue explained: “Well I will tell you what, he overdosed on coldsore tablets. I am not joking, I am not joking, I’m not.”
“He overdosed on cold sore tablets and his liver function, because he did it for a full week, taking ten of these things and he said ‘oh they’re fine’ and he did it to me when I thought I felt a tingle and he said ‘darling take six of these and you’ll be fine’ and you’re only meant to take two.”
The mum-of-three laughed before admitting that the “overdose” might not have been the reason, and said she thinks he had the same sickness bug that was going around the family.
Vogue and Spencer tied the knot at his family’s estate in the Scottish Highlands in June 2018.
The couple have since welcomed three children together – Theodore, 4, Gigi, 3, and Otto, 1.
Vogue was previously married to Westlife star Brian McFadden from 2012 until 2015.
