Saoirse Ronan has revealed she learned about blow jobs at the age of 12 – thanks to being on a movie set.
The 21-year-old actress was working on the set of I Could Never Be Your Woman, where her LA girl character knew all about sex.
“It could not have been more different than me,” she admitted.
“First of all, she had grown up in L.A. I’m proud to say that I have never used fake tan and I am very pale. And second, this character, at 12, knew what a blow job was,” she told W magazine.

“They had to take me aside and say, ‘We’ll explain blow jobs to you later, but, for now, just say the words like they are something sexy,” she said.
However, the Atonement star admitted that her role as Eilis Lacey in upcoming flick Brooklyn was more relate-able than her other roles.
“It felt like I had to do it; it was my life in novel form, ” she said speaking of Colm Tobin’s best-selling novel.

Similarly to her characters move from home, the Carlow native has just moved from Ireland to her new pad in London.
“I understood the sadness and excitement of being on your own in a new place,” she explained.
It comes after the talented actress was expected to receive a Hollywood Film Award alongside tinsel town’s biggest stars.
